Mothers have a day. Fathers have a day. Children even have a day. It stands to reason, then, that man’s best friend should have a day of his or her own as well. Choose a day that seems significant to you (like the day you first adopted your dog) and then observe the following customs:
Buy some trendy new dog toys.
Let’s face it. You haven’t bought your pooch a new chew toy since 1982. It’s time to bring sexy back with cute, trendy dog toys that say, “hey, my pet totally belongs in Hollywood.”
Take your dog on a walk.
That spare tire around your dog’s waist didn’t arrive there by accident. Use Man’s Best Friend Day as a reason to take your pooch on the prowl to the local park.
Give your dog a bath.
Before you start complaining about how hard it is to wash your own pet, consider this. You can give your dog a nice, pretty bath at a local pet wash for less than it will cost you to hire a cleaning lady to do damage control after you try to clean Fido at home.
Dress your dog up.
Dog costumes aren’t just for Halloween. Now, jump online and visit My Hollywood Pets to get your dog a new look for Man’s Best Friend Day. While you’re at it, why not dig up one of your old costumes as well?

The dogs and other pet animals deserve good moral consideration. They do have a moral claim on its owners. Most of the owners think like that even if they will get embarrassment in admitting that they kiss their dogs. People are used to treat their pet animals differently. We have set a moral distinction between them and us for our convenience. There are no such criteria which will sort the human and animals in separate categories. Species membership can be a criteria but it will not make them not getting any moral consideration. Many of the people may claim that the humans have soul which can be viewed as a criterion. This will only need the animals the get serious moral consideration. Animal care

You’ve been yearning to see the Golden Gate Bridge ever since you saw your first Rice a Roni commercial. Problem is, you’re worried that your dog won’t share your excitement about the City by the Bay. Here are a few tips to make sure your dog enjoys your vacation as much as you do.
1. Choose a pet-friendly hotel.
There is a big difference between a pet-friendly hoteland a hotel that allows pets. A pet-friendly hotel actually goes out of the way to make sure that your dog’s experience is as good as your own. Keep an eye out for hotels that charge a special pet fee, which can increase your room rate by as much as fifty to one hundred dollars.
2. Know your dog parks.
A walk around a concrete block is not your dog’s idea of a perfect vacation. Use a resource like SF Dog Parks to find the dog park closest to your hotel.
3. Help your dog feel at home.
When you arrive at your hotel room, make sure to unpack a few familiar items to help your dog adjust to the new digs. Also, try not to leave your dog in the hotel room for lengthy blocks of time, especially if your pet is not used to being alone.
