Why Train a dog?
Dogs are considered not only as pets. There is a different relationship going on between man and the dog than with all of the other pets. They have a historical link with humans and the dog has long been considered as “Man’s best friend.” It has a deep-rooted need and desire to perform a function for man’s benefit and to work for him. Dogs have an ‘amazing commands’ and the ability to learn and understand.
Once we have brought a dog into our homes, it is our duty to establish and set himself with some work, so that he could feel his natural skills are being put to good use. It is more obvious in the “working breeds” but it is also likely with all other breeds of dogs.
Dogs need most importantly the food and warmth, besides these, they do not like to simply exist, instead they like to serve, work, obey and to be rewarded by their master.
There is a large number of people who do not like dogs and actually wish to see them banned from almost all public areas. When you take ownership of a dog, you also take ownership of a responsibility towards other owners and towards all dogs. You should make sure that you do everything you can to avoid upsetting anybody with your dog. The way to do this is to train the dog.
Dog training is a process of teaching a dog to perform certain actions in response to certain commands which the dog is trained to understand.
The very important reason for training your dog is for his health and happiness. Secondly, training your dog will make as many improvements to your life as it does to your dog’s. When you teach your dog new and challenging commands, the relationship with your dog becomes twice as strong as before and you feel much closer to your pet. Every effort you put into the dog with his training, he will give a pound of effort back so long as you do it correctly.
